No. Emily is an independent educator and mentor. She provides the learning and support alongside the official communal process, which happens with a Beis Din. Her role is to prepare you educationally and personally so that when you approach the Beis Din, you are ready.
As long as it needs to. This is a personal journey, not a race — the pace is yours. Most Orthodox conversions take one to three years, depending on your background, life season, and readiness. Emily walks with you steadily through each stage.
No. Hebrew grows in over time. We begin in a language you already share, and add Hebrew gently as it becomes useful.
Conversations happen one-to-one, in a rhythm that suits your life. Some students meet weekly; others, when the moment calls for it. Every session is part of a structured curriculum designed to move you toward readiness for the Beis Din.
Emily discusses this privately with each student. The first conversation is always without cost or obligation.
